Felting is an ancient craft, used for utilitarian as well as art form. This felting kit gives you many options to create, a new hobby or fine tune your felting skills. You may be a beginner, or this kit will help continue the skills you have already developed for felting. This kit is designed to experiment and enjoy your creativity. Felting is used by many to relax and also a great opportunity to create a special one of a kind gift for any occasion.
This felting kit is for ages 10 and up, with good hand-eye coordination. Adult supervision is recommended. The felting needles are very sharp and must be used with CAUTION!!
This kit includes: -Instruction sheet for beginning felting -0.2 oz of each color: 7 *colors of wool roving (pink, lavender, med brown, maize, aqualon blue, brilliant blue, black)
-3 *colors of wool locks (purple, peacock, brilliant blue) -2 4x6 art canvas -1 8x10 art canvas -2 felting needles ** Art work and figures shown as examples, they are not included.
What you will need: A felting pad to protect the work surface. We recommend our 8x6 felting foam pad.
* colors may vary. wool is dyed in small lots, which leaves room for color variance.
